Lisa Godfrey - Director
"My first trip to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, was in March 2015. Like so many of you, I fell in love with the island and the people. It touched my heart so much that I planned a return trip later that year and brought helmets for the toddlers riding on their family scooters. Soon, I was making several trips each year bring school supplies, clothes, helmets, etc. for the island children and the families I loved." Wanting to help even more, Lisa began to participate in several Keys 4 Life projects in the schools and in the community, and in 2021 she was invited to join the Keys 4 Life Board of Directors. Wanting to spend more time on the island, Lisa has now purchased a small condo on the Caribbean side and is the proud owner of “Casita Turquesa.” www.Facebook.com/CasitaTurquesaIsla
Lisa currently works in Northeast Alabama managing a piping/plumbing supply business and lives in Peachtree City, Georgia with her husband Greg. She returns to the island as much as possible (3-4 times/year). Lisa looks forward to retiring soon and spending even more time on her“Little Island of Paradise.”

They like to serve with joy wherever there is a need, and have served on several mission trips to Mexico with their church. One of their favorite Bible verses is found in Colossians 3:23 which says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
Aaron & Maria spend the majority of the year in Austin, Texas with their two rescue dogs from the streets of Isla Mujeres. They also love to travel and have recently adventured to Belize, Costa Rica, Laguna Bacalar, and Merida, in addition to spending winters at their apartment in Isla Mujeres.
Jesus Daniel Juan Trejo - "Dany" - Project Manager
Dany and his wife Cinthia have twin 17-year-old daughters. As a family, they sell fruit cups and other healthy treats in the neighborhood, run a breakfast program for students at Julio Sauri Elementary School, and coordinate a food distribution program for those in need. Dany once had a comfortable job working as a diesel mechanic on the boats in Isla Mujeres. A valve he was working on ruptured, spraying hot diesel fuel directly into his eyes, causing severe damage to his eyesight. Additionally, Dany's house in Guadalupana was one of many that caught fire and burned to the ground when a neighbor's candle tipped over and the entire block went up in flames. In a short period of time, Dany lost both his sight and his home. Nevertheless, Dany's spirit has been unwavering! With help from Keys 4 Life he has a rebuilt his house, has developed a passion to help others, and with God's help, is a catalyst for hope and encouragement to his neighbors. He continues to be a source of inspiration to everyone in Guadalupana!
