Tammy Moen - Director & Secretary

Tammy lives in Rosemount, MN and has three grown children. As a retired special education teacher, she has a passion for spending time with her children and grandchildren. Tammy has had the pleasure of going to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and also Haiti several times. Isla Mujeres is not only a captivating, beautiful island, but it has many poor residents who have overflowing, sharing hearts. After the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti, God kept whispering to her to go to Haiti. She answered that call, and her heart has been forever changed. "I have received much more than I give. Going to Isla and Haiti fills me up!"    - "Jesus said to the people, I am the light  of the world. If you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness because you will have the light that leads to life." (John 8:12. )

Rick & Kim Firkus - Directors

Rick is a property manager and Kim is an ophthalmology assistant, but the work they love is helping with Keys 4 Life projects in the United States and in Mexico.  Having been to the island several times, they love the simplicity of life, and the beautiful people and friends they have met through working on many projects in Guadalupana. They currently live in St. Paul, MN.

Robb Sals - Director

Robb is a Transformational Health Coach, and enjoys helping others overcome the emotional component of poor eating habits, pain, and poor health in general.  Robb and wife Sally spend the majority of their time living on the island of Isla Mujeres, enjoying the tropical island paradise. Robb enjoys studying Spanish (and most everything else) and playing tennis. Sally loves to paint, cook, and write poetry.  Both Robb and Sally have a heart for the people of Isla Mujeres, especially their dear friends living in Guadalupana. They play an indispensable role in implementing the delivery of resources for Keys 4 Life to those needing support on the island of Isla Mujeres.

Jesus Daniel Juan Trejo - "Dany" - Project Manager

Dany and his wife Cinthia have twin 17-year-old daughters. As a family, they sell fruit cups and other healthy treats in the neighborhood, run a breakfast program for students at Julio Sauri Elementary School, and coordinate a food distribution program for those in need. Dany once had a comfortable job working as a diesel mechanic on the boats in Isla Mujeres. A valve he was working on ruptured, spraying hot diesel fuel directly into his eyes, causing severe damage to his eyesight.  Additionally, Dany's house in Guadalupana was one of many that caught fire and burned to the ground when a neighbor's candle tipped over and the entire block went up in flames. In a short period of time, Dany lost both his sight and his home. Nevertheless, Dany's spirit has been unwavering! With help from Keys 4 Life he has a rebuilt his house, has developed a passion to help others, and with God's help, is a catalyst for hope and encouragement to his neighbors. He continues to be a source of inspiration to everyone in Guadalupana!
